Landmike Real Estate is a Veteran-owned brokerage named after our children, Landon and Michael. Ty started this company to blend his passion for relationships and complex transactions into a boutique firm representing the Lowcountry area.

Tyler "Ty" Staal, J.D.
Ty, a REALTOR®, is the Broker in Charge and Owner of Landmike Real Estate. He is licensed in South Carolina and before moving to South Carolina, he was a licensed Real Estate Broker in Washington State. Ty's passion is relationships, systematic problem solving, and complex transactions.
In addition to his real estate practice, Ty has two decades of experience in aerospace where he has led large organizations in multiple operations management functions including the general manager for an internal boutique cargo airline you often see flying over the Low country. He has complex transaction experience negotiating or providing oversight on business agreements worth billions of dollars.
Ty is formally trained in law, engineering, government, and is currently attending MIT to earn his MBA.
